Who we are
This website is run by Nail Bliss by Asteria, a nail studio at 62 Tong Street, Dudley Hill, Bradford BD4. You can email us at james@tarkawebdesign.com. Our current contact details are always on our contact page.
What we collect and why
Messages. When you send a message through our contact form, we collect your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, and your message. It is stored on this website and emailed to us so that we can reply to you. We keep it until we delete it.
Bookings. When you book online, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the treatment and time you chose, and any note you add. We use them to hold your appointment, send you a confirmation and contact you about your booking. They are kept in our booking records until we delete them.
Deposits. When you pay a deposit, the payment is handled by Stripe, a payment provider. Your card details go to Stripe and never to us or to this website. We see that the payment was made and how much it was.
We do not sell your details or pass them to anyone for marketing.
Who looks after the website
This website is hosted for us in the United Kingdom by British Web Design. They process the details above on our behalf, and they deliver the website's emails.
Cookies
The website sets two cookies that every visitor needs: a session cookie, which keeps the website working as you move from page to page, and a security cookie, which protects the forms from misuse.
We count visits to the website without cookies, so counting visitors does not track you.
If we switch on Google Analytics or advertising tags in future, a banner will ask you first, and nothing will be set unless you accept. Your answer is remembered in your browser.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them or delete them, and object to how we use them. Email us and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
