Sunbeds

Two sunbeds in the studio on Tong Street, booked by the session, so you are not left waiting for a bed. Add one to your nail appointment, or come in just for a top-up.

Two beds

Tan while you wait, or on the way home

With two sunbeds in the studio, you can book a session at a time that suits you, even when someone else is already tanning. Pair it with your nail appointment, one straight after the other, and it is one easy visit.

  • Sessions of 6, 9 or 12 minutes
  • No deposit: pay at the studio
  • Goggles there for every session

Getting ready for your session

  1. Be 18 or over

The law in England does not allow anyone under 18 to use a sunbed, so please bring ID if you might be asked.

  2. Come with clean skin

Take off make-up, perfume and body lotion before your session. Some products can react with UV light.

  3. Wear the goggles

Closing your eyes is not enough to protect them. Goggles are there for every session.

  4. Start short, leave a gap

Begin with a short session and leave at least 48 hours between sessions, so your skin can settle.

Questions

Sunbed questions

Do I need to pay a deposit for a sunbed?

No. Book online to hold a bed for your time, then pay at the studio.

Can I have a sunbed and my nails done on the same visit?

Yes. Book them as two appointments, one after the other, and let Asteria know when you arrive.

Is a sunbed right for my skin?

If your skin always burns and never tans, the advice is not to use a sunbed at all. The same goes if you are taking medicine that makes your skin sensitive to light. If you are unsure, ask your pharmacist or GP first. Our first-session guide has more.
