Treatments
BIAB and gel
-
BIAB new set
About 75 minutes
BIAB (Builder In A Bottle) is a soft builder gel brushed over your natural nails. It adds strength, so your own nails can grow without bending or snapping, and it lasts three to four weeks.
- Shaping, cuticle prep and builder gel
- Finished in a nude, a milky shade or any colour you like
- A good choice for weak, peeling or bitten nails
-
BIAB infill
About 75 minutes
Once your nails have grown, the gap at the base is filled and the shape rebalanced, without taking the whole overlay off. Book one every three to four weeks to keep your nails strong.
-
Gel manicure
About 45 minutes
A tidy manicure finished with gel colour, cured under a lamp so it is dry before you leave and stays glossy for around two weeks.
- Shaping and cuticle care
- Gel colour or a classic French
-
Gel toes
About 45 minutes
Toenails shaped and tidied, then finished in gel colour that lasts for weeks. Lovely before a holiday.
-
Removal and tidy
About 30 minutes
BIAB or gel taken off gently, then your nails are shaped and tidied. Book this if you are having a break, or if you are coming to us with another salon's product.
- French tips
- Chrome
- Glitter
- Foil

Nail art and designs
Add a little art
Nail art is added to a BIAB or gel appointment. Bring a picture of what you love and Asteria will talk it through with you.
-
French tips or chrome
Adds about 15 minutes
A crisp French tip, or a chrome powder for a mirror finish, over your BIAB or gel colour.
-
Nail art, a few nails
Adds about 15 minutes
Designs on two to four accent nails: lines, dots, flowers, gems or foil.
-
Nail art, full set
Adds about 30 minutes
Designs on every nail. The price depends on the detail, so show Asteria your picture and she will tell you before she starts.
Questions
Before you book your nails
Should I choose BIAB or a gel manicure?
If you want your own nails to grow longer and stronger, choose BIAB. If you like changing your colour every couple of weeks and your nails are already in good shape, a gel manicure is quicker and costs a little less. Our post on BIAB or gel polish explains the difference.
Will BIAB damage my nails?
Not when it is put on and taken off properly. Damage usually comes from picking or peeling it off, or from heavy filing. With regular infills, the overlay is filed back and refreshed rather than soaked off every time.
I have gel or BIAB from another salon. What should I book?
Book "Removal and tidy" with your new set, so there is time to take the old product off gently first.
How do I keep my nails looking good between appointments?
Wear gloves for cleaning and washing up, use cuticle oil every day and do not use your nails as tools. There is more in our aftercare guide.
